Mr. President , we are intoxicated with your endless visions in Masaka on January 26, 2011, Museveni you said .

"There has been socio-economic transformation, making Uganda a self-sustaining economy; there’s less dependence on foreign aid; there’s prevalent peace and stability; increased revenue collection; key infrastructure has been built; poverty has been halved and development of the oil industry, among other noteworthy achievements".

In 2011,your manifesto highlighted the following:

Prosperity for all aim of converting all homesteads into commercial units in order to effectively eradicate poverty in the country.

Transforming Uganda from a poor peasant society into a modern industrial, united and prosperous society in a stable and peaceful environment.

An agricultural revolution.

Rapid industrialization.

Mr president ,you additionally pledged to make Uganda a “middle income” country by 2015 .
But let me re freshen your memory by reminding you of your failed flagship plans.
1986 Ten point program
1997 PRSP ..Poverty Reduction Strategic Papers
1997 PEAP Poverty Eradication Action Plan
1999 Vision 2025
2000 Water for all
2000 MDG Millenium development plan
2007 NDP National development plan
2010 Vision 2040

With all due respect,Mr president time for you to continue daydreaming has to come to a premature end.Uganda under your stewardship has failed to serve its people with the most basic service ,like stocking basic medicines for treatable diseases like malarial and treatable parasites like jiggers cannot have illusion of becoming a middle income economy by 2015.

For the past twenty 28 years, you have been hobnobbing from one plan to another to turn Uganda into the bread basket of Africa.

However, we are now competing in the global stage in areas of corruption, poor governance, poor institutions and poor infrastructures.Watch in the picture below bare butt citizens earning a living rescuing motorist from dreadful roads .
