The prevalence of a social disease of insatiable greed for money by the NRM leadership is not based on national values but their own welfare.

That is a big mistake when leaders pursues money instead of the selfless work for the public good ,now we have a generation of leaders with life imbalances yet in real life money is never enough. Human behavior is subject to the same laws as any other natural phenomenon. Our customs, behaviors, and values are by products of our culture. No one is born with greed, prejudice, bigotry, patriotism and hatred; these are all learned behavior patterns. If the environment is unaltered, similar behavior will reoccur.

In 2005 5mn shs turned the constitution around.
In 2010 20 mn shs was the magic figure for them.
In the short span of 5 years the same legislator have fleeced the tax payer;
110mn shs for their motor vehicle
110mn shs as a relieve in their own personal loan default
6 bn shs to promote the undemocratic motion to impose their chairman on the entire country
50bn shs to organize a delegates conference to oust their elected secretary general
Now they are demanding for a whooping 300mn shs each to endorse a life president project courtesy of their Kyankwazi retreat.

If Uganda continues on this path its inevitable that war, poverty, hunger, deprivation, crime, ignorance, stress, fear, and inequality will reign.Its my humble believe that leadership values must be a core curriculum on the part of orientation course these legislators are educated in Kyankwazi instead of looking inside themselves to determine their own values,these people will continue to have unbalanced lives, REGARDLESS of any economic institutions or government policies.

The regime has set the precedent of power and politics to hold the citizenry captive,Uganda is a country that grow more than enough food to feed everyone on the planet, and yet people continue to starve. People in power are preventing civic education to filter into the population because they want to rule them with money and they is a reflection of the love by their leaders for money.

This explains why the current system is obviously bad. It is certainly imperfect and logically dysfunctional ,the current system has resulted into creation of overnight class of people with unexplained enormous wealth, its not shocking that the recent Swiss bank leaks has over 250 secret accounts run by Ugandans. Ironically the same Uganda recently voted the best English speaking country in Africa ,I don't actually know of what significance is speaking good English anyway. The same Uganda has a large base of "sleeping elites" who have become a curse to Uganda, they are doing nothing because the economic system they survive in would collapse if they dare speak against it anyway, its their right to remain redundant in a system without a clear defined purpose to serve the best interests of the citizens

To the NRM leaders who have mortgaged this country to IMF,WB & lately China what assurance do you that your pathetically accumulated wealth will survive when the country implodes? does that explain the mad rush to stash your loots in Swiss banks? you have rewarded your voters by conniving with fake investors to illegitimately grab their ancestral land and now you intend to introduce a legislation that makes them landless.
Your unknowingly creating a fertile ground for future disaster if you don't develop strategic thinking, you should thinking of solutions to a sustainable income that will improve quality of life of your constituents and most importantly conserve nature.
When shall we get impatient and tell these pigs enough is enough Ugandans as we are being stretched day and night.
