Ignorance or Xenophobia?
Ignorance is ultimately the worst enemy of a people who want to be free from self imposed impasse.

Slavery does not cease when one achieves a status of self determination, physically yes you could be free from servitude but ps...ychologically you still remain a slave for extended periods.
The South Africans forget that the Africans they are lynching in broad daylight ,were very tolerant in laboring to train and arm their freedom fighters during the fight against the apartheid , without the spirit of PanAfricanism the segregative Afrikans would still be ruling South Africa.

Most ignorance is the direct result of apathy; people don't know because they don't care put the elected leaders to task no wonder the militant branches of movements have emerged in South Africa.
The other foreign nationals have simply taken advantage of shortage of skilled labor in the deprived shanty settlements and filled the gaps.
