People of Burundi are defaint to the machination of the leaders..

Formidable challenge to Ugandans ,imagine Burundi a country reported by World bank and Wall street journal as one of the top 10 poorest nation in the world...
With low literacy levels only 5.2% of women have at least a secondary education, compared to 9.2% of men.
Poverty level stands at 69% and GDP per capita: $271 (2nd lowest)...
Burundi’s infant mortality rate is at a staggering 87.8 deaths per 1,000 birth.
The life expectancy at birth is just 51 years.
Ironically this bottom of the pile citizens know who wields power and a thing or two of how to defend their constitution.

Fastforward to Uganda, the elite are contemplating to escort Museveni to another unprecedented elections procurement.

Money makes the results fair to the Museveni, yet they its knowledge to many that no elections can be free and fair under the prevailing conditions so lets not nod in agreement to the comic and cosmetic proposals the cabinet has introduced.

The reform demands are the view of the citizens, it would be foolhardy for the advocacy groups who put alot of resources collecting views of the citizens to make a uturn.

Instead of succumbing to the shambolic gestures of Museveni we rather have a stalemate
The first line is for each of us is to change ourselves with hope that others will follow in that mode its of a greater importance. If we can achieve this, then the government will change.

What can we do as individuals to motivate a positive change in our government?

Robert Otim Ugandans have alot in common to Burundians.
We have a leaf or two to borrow from them brother Moses Atocon Atyekwo
