Mass defections in South Sudan
Reports submitted to Political crime desk by SPLA-IO spokesman, reveals several platoons of the army of South Sudan, including police officers have defected this morning from different units to join the SPLA-IO. And they have switly declared their allegiance to SPLM/SPLA-IO under able leadership of Dr.Riek Machar Teny .
The newly defected troops are from the two states of Western Equatoria and Western Bahr el ghazal.
The new defectees are under command of numerous army and police officers; they are listed as follows:
A.1st Lt.Jedo Hassan Suliema, from South Sudan Police Services ( SSPS).
B.1st Lt.Martin Juma, from SSPS
C.1st Lt.Wilson Francis Dongo, from SSPS
D.1st Lt.Francis Dongo, From Army.
In another news of defection coming from Western Equatoria state, indicate a full battalion defected with all their weapons under command the of command of Capt.Nimeri Justin .
