On the 18th Dec 2015 I  dedicated my blog to strictly for comrade Mugumya Sam . Who celebrated his birthday in detention. Happy birthday to our dear gallant and fearless comrade Sam Mugumya, it has been over a year in which you were snatched from us under a mysterious circumstance. Sam led a very passionate cause of liberating Ugandans, Sam is your modern day freedom fighter and like many of us he is suffering the fate of opposing status. Those multitudes who have been banished from their motherland share and understand the pain of being away from your family during the time you should be celebrating together. Mugumya was born in 1979 in the western district of Rukungiri to Emmanuel Turyomurugyendo and Edinat in a family of five siblings. He went to a school in Kasese district for his primary education before joining Muntuyera High School in Ntungamo and later Makerere University where he studied social sciences, majoring in political science. He gradua...

AUTHORS OF VIOLENCE!.

Image
Finally, the full characters of the origins of political violence has begun to emerge. What we witnessed today in Ntungamo are clashes between factions of the ruling party NRM. Suppoters of NRM Museveni and NRM Amama‘s Go Forward brand today descended into a full scale battle. The violent clashes between the NRM factions putting our country into a perilous path of violence. The regime deliberate ly militarized many youths to form a militia group called “crime preventers” for the purpose of intimidating, harassing and kidnapping opposition members. At the beginning of this elections, Amama Mbabazi heralded himself as the only candidate who can guarantee a peaceful transition of power in Uganda. Others got convinced but some of us objected to that assertion since, as a former "Super minister", he was central in the creation of a rogue regime. Whereas showing vigorous support to a particular candidate is a constitutional right; the use of force to des...

P10 CELLS IN BRIEF.

Image
Voting out a 30-year-old entrenched dictatorship is like felling a Mahogany tree with a razor blade. No job is unachievable for a cohesive unit; we can emulate from the social insects called "ants" that live together in well-organized colonies. Collectively this tiny creature through their colonies construct a super structure called ant hill without any specialized tools, however it takes man to build a factory of implements and chemicals just to demolish it. In other words, just like the determined insects, when people are in agreement they become unstoppable. The ancient Babylonians nearly built a tower to heaven was it not for God to scatter them the planet would be another place, therefore together we can defeat the dictatorship by forming small bands of vigilant citizens called P10. If citizens embrace this solution in P10 citizens and act now, we can use many blades to target and sever the roots that feeds and sustains the Mahogany tree. P1...

THE LOVE AFFAIR TESO, MALWA & THE DICTATOR

Image
Once again there is predication that the vote pendulum in Teso will swing towards the opposition in the 2016 general election. Many factors at play in the local politics of Teso will eventually hammer the divorce between Museveni and the people of Teso. First of all, Teso is considered a swing vote and they tend to vote in block, traditionally Teso has been a bastion of opposition politics since NRA/NRM reintroduced electoral politics in Uganda. In the 2006 elections, FDC emerged as the dominant political force in the sub-region. Overall, Besigye got 72% of the total vote in the sub-region compared to Museveni’s 22%. However in 2011, Museveni invested heavily by majorly monetizing the politics of the region, he spent lavishly during the campaign in buying many opposition figures and supporters, beside that he employed divide and rule politics in Teso by creating very many district sub units in the region. And making various pledges from compensation for vetera...
