FDC makes Uganda proud again!.

Following the footsteps of UPC,FDC ensures that Uganda is represented globally by creme da la creme of its personalities and that are of a very high integrity.

Uganda deserves to be respected for the qualities of leaders it has in the country. Whereas FDC and other parties have strived to make Uganda proud by recommending men and women of unparalleled records to global positions. In the contrary the NRM has acted in contempt of the tenants of integrity by recommending felons like Hon Kutesa Sam and Former VP Dr. Wandera Kazibwe to high global positions. Idealy as Ugandans it shouldn't have mattered which party sleeves the individuals wear , whether it is FDC, NRM, DP ,UPC or ANT we should all be proud of any achievement any of Ugandan being appointed to a high profile position globally.

But ,however in NRM its disdain for our country was proved indeed when Kutesa the person they chose to represent Uganda in the UN converted position of the president of the General assembly was indicted for soliciting kickbacks from a Chinese convict Patrick Ho  while serving as a UN assembly president general. In unsealed court documents "HO caused a $500,000 bribe to be paid, via wires transmitted through New York, New York, to an account designated by Sam Kutesa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uganda, who had recently completed his term as the President of the UN General Assembly. HO also schemed to pay a $500,000 cash bribe to Yoweri Museveni, the President of Uganda, and offered to provide both Kutesa and Museveni with additional corrupt benefits by “partnering” with them in future joint ventures in Uganda". And Museveni is mentioned in court documents in New York as exhibit 1510.

NRM madness didn't stop here it also nominated scandal ridden Dr.Wandera Kazibwe to be  Uganda's choice for a top AU job fortunately the country didn't endorse her. I like many patriotic Ugandans joined in petitioning the AU to disqualify her from the job of AU commissioner.

Finally, I would also like to retrospectively recognize that UPC's former party president Dr.Olara Otunnu once occupied a top position in the UN.And he did serve with honors and ironically I am equally ashamed that it was the very regime of NRM that denied him an opportunity to be nominated as a UN secretary General.
